the cult show “Strip tease will arrive at the cinema”

A generic recognizable among all, Strip tease will return to the screens, and to the big screen in 2023 announce Yves Hinant and Jean Libon this Wednesday, November 10 during the Sarlat film festival. Jean Libon is the co-founder of this cult show, Yves Hinant directed a number of episodes.

French fries are evidence

The two men are in Sarlat to present the film “Poulet-frites”, a thriller which tells the true story of a murder investigation in Brussels where one of the pieces with convictions is a fries. The film is presented in preview at Sarlat this Thursday November 11 at 9:30 p.m., and this Saturday November 13 at 7 p.m. before a planned theatrical release in May-June 2022.

Filming without filters

For this film, the duo had access to everything, from the discovery of the body, to the hearings, as well as to the searches. This film was shot in the early 2000s but it wasn’t edited until 20 years later: “On the eve of confinement, we were going to sign the return of Strip tease to the cinema but with confinement it was no longer possible, so we looked back on these rushes and we finished editing, instead of taking five days, it lasted two months “ explains Jean Libon.

A prequel to “Neither judge nor subject”

The duo have worked together on the film before. “Neither judge nor submissive” who is interested in the Belgian judge, colorful, Anne Gruwez. We find the latter, with 20 years younger, in “Poulet-frites”.
