Naruto soon in live action…

With more than 250 million copies around the world and more than 700 episodes in animated series, Naruto is one of the cult mangas of recent years. Very popular with young and old alike, this shōnen tells the story of Naruto, a young ninja possessed by a destructive demon who attacked his village in the past. To regain the trust and respect of the inhabitants, Naruto wishes to become Hokage, the leader of the village.

Announced in 2015, the live action adaptation project is increasingly coming to fruition. That same year, the American production company Lionsgate acquired the rights to adapt Naruto. Since then, we have had no news.

It is finally in an article by our American colleagues on the 10 screenwriters to follow at the moment, that we learn that the screenwriter Tasha Huo (The Witcher: Legacy of Blood, Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft) was going to write the screenplay for this future adaptation. “I’m already so inspired by these characters that it’s exciting to follow some of their journey and try to tell this story in a way that would interest me as a fan.” she declares.

At the moment, we have no further information regarding this future film. No release date or actor has been announced. While waiting to see this new project, don’t hesitate to watch the entire anime on Netflix, MyCanal or MyTF1!
