Excellent news, CMI France is reborn from its ashess City Magazine International, the cult magazine launched in 1984! A bimonthly, in a bilingual version, is therefore launched this Thursday, November 3, 2022 in a selection of newsstands in the largest cities in France and around the world, such as New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, London and Milian. His mission ? “Celebrating cities by revealing the figures of art, fashion, cinema, architecture, which participate directly in their vitality, and their ability to think tomorrow”… And for this great comeback, City focuses on highlighting personalities who aim to participate in reinventing cities to best meet the new ecological challenges of the 21st century.
The long-awaited first issue therefore contains exclusive interviews with the director James Gray, the poetess Amanda Gorman and the photographer Rafal Milach (book prize at the last meetings in Arles). François Régis Gaudry also reveals behind the scenes of Parisian gastronomy. Finally, the unpublished portfolio of photographer Bruce Gilden, pioneer of Street Photography, can also be discovered in this issue.
