Asked about flaws in the security system, Rudy Manna, spokesperson for Alliance Police in Marseille, replied: “If he doesn’t have these fifty degenerates (…)there is no matter. The culprits in this story are the 50 idiots who threw projectiles at this bus. (…) I tell you very honestly, there were no major flaws.” He adds : “THE Stade Vélodrome is a stadium which is in the heart of the city. He there are 66 000 people who are around the stadium which drink the aperitif and who are susceptible to regroup very quickly in groups of 50.”
The trade unionist makes it known that the mission of the police is to avoid “a bus stop”. It develops : “If the buses start getting projectiles and stop, then it’s a hail of projectiles. There is a physical risk.”
