“The Crusade” by Louis Garrel, when children are passionate about ecology!

Jean-Claude Carriere was one of the first to take an interest in ecology. He even wrote a book on the subject in 1972 called “Le Pari” in which he discussed all current issues.

One day, he talks with Louis Garrel about an idea he had for a film in which children are passionate about ecology. At the time, no one believed it. Then one morning, a Swedish teenager goes on hunger strike because she is mobilizing for the environment and can no longer bear that nobody does anything. It was Greta Thunberg!

Very quickly, they remember. “The Crusade” is on its way!

This film, which hits theaters on December 22, tells the story of Abel and Marianne who discover that their 13-year-old son Joseph has secretly sold their most precious objects. They quickly understand that Joseph is not the only one, they are hundreds of children around the world associated to finance a mysterious project.

They made it their mission to save the planet.
