The court of appeal also issued an arrest warrant against him.

Sébastien Buisson was found guilty of aggravated breach of trust to the detriment of the association he chaired. The facts were discovered six years ago, he embezzled 243,000 euros between 2014 and 2018. This money was to be used to support and entertain hospitalized children. The man had squandered the money on nightclubs, hotels and shopping sprees. He ended up admitting the facts in September 2023 through his lawyer.

This Wednesday, the Limoges Court of Appeal also confirmed the first instance sentence handed down against Sébastien Buisson in another case of passive influence peddling. This time he was sentenced to eighteen months in prison.
