European elections 2024: the countdown to registrations on the lists
(Franceinfo)

With the European elections taking place on June 9, citizens not registered to vote do not have much time left to do so. Each party tries to do well with “poorly registered” voters.

In Limoges (Haute-Vienne), the countdown has begun. There is not much time left if you want to vote on June 9, in the European elections. Online registrations can be done until the evening of Wednesday May 1st. For those at town hall, the deadline is set for the evening of Friday, May 3. So, in Issy-les-Moulineaux (Hauts-de-Seine), requests have been increasing in recent days. Most of them concern what are called “misregistered”, voters who have not provided the correct address, in particular because of a move.

A little over a month before the election, political parties are retreading, like activists The Republicans in Paris. The 16.5% of “poorly registered” voters are of interest to the parties. They are all potential voices for them. Insoumise France reaches to the doors of apartments in Aulnay-sous-Bois (Seine-Saint-Denis). The objective is to mobilize voters in this working-class neighborhood, which would be more favorable to them. If you are in doubt about your electoral situation, you can check on the Internet if you are registered, and if you are in the right place.
