The cost of the health pass at the Monod hospital estimated at more than €200,000

How much does the hospital health pass cost? When it was set up this summer, the Fédération Hospitalière de France estimated the additional cost of monitoring the health pass in hospitals at €60 million.

Six months after its implementation, what is the situation? For the Le Havre Hospital Group, the GHH, at present, this additional cost revolves around the €200,000. Martin Trelcat, the director of the GHH explains: “In August, to control all of our hospital sites, mainly Monod, Janet and Flaubert, it cost us €45,000 excluding tax per month. Since the end of the year, we’ve been doing random checks and so it’s costing us a third of that amount..”

Security officers have been recruited specifically for these checks. So does this weigh on the GHH budget?

A few tens of thousands of euros out of the 400 million € of the GHH budget, it doesn’t weigh that much, even if in the end these are quite substantial sums. But this will be covered in the “Covid additional costs” since we are asked to trace the expenses made in this context.
