Laurent Koscielny leaves the navy and white jersey of the Girondins de Bordeaux. The club and the Corrèze defender have reached an agreement to terminate the player’s contract two years before the end of his appointment. Laurent Koscielny no longer plays but he remains an employee of the club as an ambassador. He will be responsible for the development of international partnerships. For several weeks the climate had been tense between Laurent Koscielny, 37, and the Girondin leaders who no longer wanted him on the pitch. An agreement which in any case allows the Corrézien to keep his salary while he possibly finds another commitment in a club.
