Zaho de Sagazan, 24, won four Victoires de la Musique during the ceremony on Friday February 9: “Female Revelation”, “Stage Revelation”, “Best Album” and “Best Original Song”. Unknown until a year ago, the singer from Saint-Nazaire (Loire-Atlantique) was able to turn her hypersensitivity into a strength. “For a very long time I thought that it was not good to be sensitive, because I lacked that in life. (…) One day, I discovered music, and I discovered that crying on my piano, it felt really good”she said.
Aya Nakamura crowned female artist of the year
Aya Nakamura was crowned “Female Artist of the Year”. Vianney and rapper Gazo shared the “Male Artist of the Year” prize. Arriving on a motorbike, the Franco-Cameroonian Yamê left with the Victory for “Male Revelation”. The tears of Bernard Lavilliers, awarded a Victory of Honor, also marked the 39th ceremony.
