The cooking of Pépée Le Mat live from Armentières

The France Bleu market tour stops in Armentières this Friday, March 25. And it’s Pépée Le Mat who gets into the kitchen to the delight of visitors!

This Friday March 25, the France Bleu food truck is set up on the Armentières market, at the foot of the belfry. Dfrom 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., during the broadcasts of France Blue North : Side Culture, Side Flavors and Chti who wins, it is Pépée Le Mat who cooks in front of the public.

With 30 euros, or almost (Pépée admits to having exceeded by one euro), our food columnist prepared a meal with the products bought on the market.

On the menu :

  • Grilled toast with grated radish mixed with fromage blanc, herbs and spices.
  • Fresh salad with watercress, prawns, boiled eggs and apples
  • Applesauce with whipped cream cheese.
