Legendary and Warner Bros. announced on October 27 that a second part of the film Dune was well programmed. The “Part two” of the film will, like the premiere, be directed by Canadian Denis Villeneuve. Building on its enormous success, the production announces the arrival in theaters of this second part for October 2023.

The feature film, adapted from Frank Herbert’s novel, grossed more than $ 40 million in its first week of operation in the United States, where the film was released on October 22, and has aa already raised $ 223 million in global revenue.
In France, Dune has drawn 2.7 million viewers since its release on September 15. And even though the latest James Bond is blowing up the counters, Dune remains for the moment the biggest success of the year in France ahead of Kaamelott (2.6 million tickets sold).
