In the commune of Arzon, in Morbihan, the passage of Ciaran caused a lot of damage while another storm, Domingos, could affect the Breton department on the evening of Saturday November 4.

Faced with wind and rain, a roofer was busy on Saturday November 4 in Arzon (Morbihan). He tries to repair and protect the roof of a restaurant as best as possible. Inside the building, water seeped through the ceiling. The owner of the establishment is distraught. “We are mopping up, we are trying to do what we can. We thought we would open this evening, but we realize that the damage is more significant than expected”he laments.

Uprooted trees

Storm Ciaran has barely passed, the restaurant owner now fears the arrival of Domingos. This Saturday evening, he will not return home. “I want to be there if there is ever the slightest problem, we are a little traumatized”he confides. “We have the structure which is already weakened, we don’t want the restaurant to completely collapse”, he adds. Arzon is one of the municipalities in Morbihan most affected by previous bad weather. Many electrical poles are down, and trees uprooted.
