Luc Besson has been at the heart of a scandal for several years now. On the side of Sand Van Roy, the nightmare began on May 18, 2018. At the time, she filed a complaint against him for rape. “I was afraid of dying. And even the next day, I was in so much pain that I passed out. And when it’s that violent, it’s called rape”explained the young woman on this subject in an old interview granted to our colleagues from BFM-TV.
Only here, the case was dismissed the following year and then gave way to a dismissal in December 2021. “The elements of the procedure proved insufficient to constitute serious or concordant indications likely to justify the indictment of Luc Besson”, pointed out the investigating judge in charge of the case at that time.
This Tuesday, May 24, 2022, the justice ruled again by announcing a dismissal in favor of the one who would have said a horrible sentence at the time of his breakup with Maiwenn. A blow that discouraged Sand Van Roy who expressed her anger in a long message shared on Twitter where she delivered her version of the facts. First of all, she mentioned her various medico-legal procedures. “I filed a complaint on the day of the events. The forensic doctors found a bruise on the eye, lesions in the back, a recent anal lesion compatible with my statements” she wrote at first. According to her, Luc Bessoin would never have been confronted with these medical elements during his hearings.
Despite the failures, she made sure to go after things. Moreover, four doctors “renowned” would have certified the veracity of his remarks which we were able to confirm with photos. “You humiliated me, defamed me, damaged my life. You made my mother cry today and I will never forgive your country for that. (…) I am stopping my law studies because I no longer believe in Justice” she said sorry, disgusted by the verdict. The young woman has received many messages of support.
