This Wednesday, January 18, 2023, Margaux, a stay-at-home mother victim of a failed cosmetic surgery operation, was present on the TPMP set to tell her story. A story that has particularly upset the chroniclers… “When I gave birth to my second child, I was enormously complexed by my body. I’ve always had a complex, but my second childbirth really gave me a slap in the face. At the beginning of 2020 I started by doing sports, a food rebalancing and in fact, I realize that I don’t lose a gram. From there, I decide to go see my doctor who informs me that the skin on my belly is loose and completely dead”, she explained. A situation “very complicated” according to Cyril Hanouna, “because you can do all the sport you want, there’s nothing to do”.
Faced with a body that she can no longer bear, Margaux then decides to undergo a « abdominoplasty to remove skin ». She takes advantage of this intervention to also redo her chest and buttocks. Attracted by more attractive prices on the other side of the Mediterranean, the young mother flew to Tunisia to undergo the operations of her dreams. After 11 hours of intervention, the latter finally opens her eyes and her gaze falls on the branch manager who informs her that everything went well. Information that the patient does not digest since her body cries out to her to the contrary. “I said to him, ‘please call my husband, call my children because it’s not okay, I feel like I’m leaving, I’m going to die. […] I felt like a truck had run over me, I couldn’t fully open my eyes. They should have turned me down because I couldn’t do so many surgeries all at once. They should also have refused me when they found out that I had smoked before the operation. »
“I was left alone with myself”
If she is gradually recovering, Margaux’s nightmare is far from over. At worst, the young woman goes to a nurse who tells her the worst. “We realized that it reopened because underneath was an infection”. Despite the antibiotics, her condition worsens and her calls to the branch manager go nowhere. Worse, the latter ends up blocking it. “I was left alone with myself”.
“Today I opened a trial. I had to have a follow-up with a psychiatrist who diagnosed me with severe depression with a treatment to take every day, I have an incredible lawyer who does everything to make everything go for the best and physically, it’s very hard. At the level of the scar it makes me a hole… The three operations are to be redone […] It takes 25,000 euros”. A chilling tale…
