The Coalition avenir Québec proposes to create Clic École, an interface allowing parents to interact with their child’s school.

The Coalition avenir Québec (CAQ) proposes to create a digital interface that will allow parents to interact with their child’s school.

In one place, regardless of the school, it will be possible to declare the absences and delays of children, to consult the school calendar, to access official documents such as report cards and to communicate with the school, said the CAQ on Tuesday.

A sum of 4 million will be used to create this interface, Clic École, which will take over the model of Clic Santé, the interface set up to manage vaccination in particular during the pandemic.

CAQ chief François Legault said that the proliferation of technological tools in education, especially since the start of the pandemic, constitutes a challenge for parents.

These many tools and software sometimes confuse parents and students because of their excessive volume and their various functionalities, believes the CAQ.
