The Coachella festival, which this year welcomes Frank Ocean, Bad Bunny, Blackpink, Gorillaz, Rosalia, Burna Boy and Björk in the Californian desert, is broadcast for the first time in full live on YouTube.
Since Friday, dozens of artists have followed one another on the stages of the popular event. After this first weekend, which ends this Sunday, a second round with the same program will take place from April 21 to 23. These shows will also be streamed online.
This year, in addition to Puerto Rican star Bad Bunny, k-pop group Blackpink and R&B singer Frank Ocean headlining the event, the hundreds of thousands of festival-goers (and those who will follow the festivities online) will attend shows by Angèle, Redcar, Domi & JD Beck, Blondie, Calvin Harris, boygenius, Muna, Pusha T, Wet Leg, Willow and dozens more. Montrealers Kaytranada and Chromeo will also be there.
For the first time ever, the three names at the top of the program are non-white artists. The rest of the poster also features a more diverse roster than ever before.
