After its last two victories against the All Blacks, the French rugby team has ambitions for this year 2022. And in particular that of winning the Six Nations Tournament. Fabien Galthié, the coach of the XV of France said it this Tuesday evening during his visit to Tournon-sur-Rhône in Ardèche: “We want and we can win the competitions in which we are going to enter, in particular the tournament”.
This Tuesday evening, the former international came to Ardèche to launch his first media appearance of the year. An arrival well noticed by young and old alike. Morgan and his father Joffrey were particularly impressed. “I’m glad to see him”, the first admits timidly. “It’s impressive and it’s good to have coaches like that come to the club. It motivates everyone.” adds the second.
At the start of the evening, the senior team was trained by Fabien Galthié himself. For the president of the club, Charles-Henri Rimbert, it is an honor: “It is everyone’s dream to be trained by the coach of the France team. It’s a real coaching session. It shows the proximity of the coaches of the France team to the amateur environment”.
