A player from the capital club, Aminata Diallo, was arrested following a possible involvement in the assault of her teammate Kheira Hamraoui. The two players are also competing for a starting place at the club. It all happened on November 4: after having dinner in Paris, two men attack Kheira Hamraoui, injuring her legs.
According to specialized media, this aggression is linked to the competition between the two women within the club, but also in the French team. In front of the Parc des Princes, PSG supporters are still in shock. “The image of the team is tarnished”, explains a supporter. “It’s two girls who look a bit alike”, adds Sébastien Nieto, sports journalist at Le Parisien. A relative of Aminata Diallo is also in police custody for having ordered the attack. As for Aminata Diallo, she could remain in police custody until the morning of Friday, November 12.
