Friday evening, Troyes and Auxerre left on a draw in the opening match of the 14th day. Bruno Irles’ men were however off to a good start in this meeting. Rony Lopes took advantage of superb work from Mama Baldé to open the scoring in the 28th minute. Entering the hour mark, Gaëtan Perrin equalized at the end of the game, well served by Lassine Sinayoko (86th). It is the third consecutive victory in all competitions for Monaco which has clearly dominated Toulouse

After a first period during which Maxime Dupe delayed the inevitable for a long time, it was Aleksandr Golovin who first deceived the Toulouse goalkeeper with a superb fine shot from outside the area. On the hour mark, it was Breel Embolo who doubled the lead for Monaco on a serve from Minamino to shelter his team because the Toulouse pushed to come back but Nubel was decisive on the rare balls which are reached him.
Reims-Nantes (1-0)
Nantes, reduced to 10 and tired by their Europa League match on Thursday in Greece (2-0 victory against Olympiakos), was beaten by Reims

Nice-Brest (1-0)
OGC Nice, a candidate like Monaco for European places but much less prominent at the start of the season, has continued its revival
by winning against Brest thanks to Gaëtan Laborde, who deflected a shot from Sofiane Diop. The Niçois take 9th place with this second success in a row.
Clermont-Montpellier (1-1)
Tied on points with Nice, Clermont (10th) for his part missed an important opportunity to give himself some air by conceding a draw against Montpellier
(1-1): the Auvergnats can blame themselves for having missed two penalties.
Lille-Rennes (1-1)
Dominated by unlucky Lille residents (like last weekend in Lyon), the Bretons saved the furniture
by snatching the point of the draw (1-1). Les Dogues quickly opened the scoring thanks to their captain José Fonte (16th), who took advantage of an error Steve Mandanda. But the Rennes goalkeeper made up for it by performing a heroic match, assisted by his posts on three occasions. Benjamin Bourigeaud equalized from a penalty (58th), allowing Rennes to retain their 3rd place. LOSC is 7th.
Marseille-Lyon (1-0)
After their elimination from all European competitions against Tottenham (1-2), OM raised their heads by dominating Lyon (1-0) at the Vélodrome. The only goal of the match was scored by Samuel Gigot, from a corner, just before half-time (43rd). This is only the second victory for the Marseillais in the last 16 clashes with Lyon. A success all the more precious as OM had taken only one point in the last four matches. In the standings, Marseille is 4th, Lyon remains 8th.
