the clarification of Ève Gilles in a new interview

On December 16, the beautiful Ève Gilles was elected Miss France 2024 at just 20 years old. Despite his young age, the one who was representative of the Nord-pas-de-Calais region seems to have a strong character and a mind of steel. Enough to have managed to cope, from the first minutes after his coronation, with the countless criticisms of his pixie cut but also and above all of his physique deemed “too skinny”.

After speaking on several TV sets
to discuss his cyber-harassment, Ève Gilles speaks today in the columns of Gala magazine. When asked if she feels like she symbolizes a revolution, this is what she answers: “Yes and no. I just embody a type of woman today, like we see in the street. I’m not just a short haircut but it’s true that by embodying it at Miss France, and by winning, I help to represent this type of woman who had not yet been highlighted.”.

If the pretty brunette said she wanted to be the “miss of differences” during the election, she now declares: “I am a Miss of diversity. I just want that, thanks to my election, every woman can feel good in her body without needing to conform to this or that criterion. Miss France is not necessarily a beautiful blonde with shapes. Myself, a few years ago, I imagined it like that. In fact, no. A Miss is a woman who lives in her time, wants to accept herself as she is and is not there just to look pretty.”

Ève Gilles answers a question about being gender neutral
If Ève Gilles claims to feel feminist, she then talks about her physique which is so talked about.I chose my haircut. My body, no! This thinness is not the result of deprivation, it is my nature. On the contrary, I am even very greedy!” assures the young woman.

“What do you say when people say that you are the embodiment of a gender-neutral culture?” our colleagues then ask. To which the beauty queen responds: “I don’t identify as gender neutral. OK, I have short hair and little chest but for me, through my everyday style, my way of being, I feel very feminine”.
