For months, French people drawn by lot have been thinking about the question of euthanasia and assisted suicide. Here are the main lines of this reflection which could lead to a modification of the legislation.

For the last time, they all met together in the hemicycle of the Economic and Social Council. For three months, they confronted their thoughts on the end of life and met around sixty experts. The 184 citizens drawn by lot delivered their conclusion on Sunday, April 2. “After extensive debate, the majority of the convention came out in favor of opening up active assistance in dying.“, declares a man. 76% voted For, 23% against for assisted suicide or euthanasia.
