The immersion of ” Messengers In Negro Spirituals and Gospel Songs is not a harmless act, let alone innocent. They dive into it, during their concerts, body and soul, engulf themselves in it with the feeling of never grasping the intangible, of not even suspecting everything that may be hiding there.
