Disappearance of Estelle Mouzin: the chilling testimony of Monique Olivier during her trial – (France 2)
The disappearance of Estelle Mouzin was at the heart of the trial of Monique Olivier, the ex-wife of serial killer Michel Fourniret, Thursday December 14. The accused has still not revealed where the girl’s body was buried.
The Assize Court attempted to define the last hours of the life of young Estelle Mouzin during the trial of Monique Olivier, the ex-wife of serial killer Michel Fourniret, Thursday December 14. When the president asked her why she did not save the little girl, the accused replied: “I could have saved her, I should have taken her away. I didn’t, I don’t know why.” The lawyer for little Estelle’s father deplores the “completely dry heart” by Monique Olivier.
The verdict will be delivered on Tuesday
The president, exasperated by the lack of reaction from the accused, asked her if Michel Fourniret had abused the young girl. “He may have intended to do it, but I think he didn’t because she still had his clothes and shoes”, she replied. Thursday marked the end of the third week of the hearing and the last interrogation of Monique Olivier, who has still not revealed where little Estelle’s body is. The verdict will be delivered on Tuesday.
