The alleged facts allegedly occurred during the filming of the film.The Magician and the Siamese”, directed by Jean-Pierre Mocky, for whom she was an assistant. She says that Gérard Depardieu would have touched her buttocks and made obscene remarks from the first meetings, at his home, in his mansion in Paris. On the first day of filming, in Doué-la-Fontaine, between Saumur and Angers (Maine-et-Loire), she also accused him of having repeated his touching of private parts and made sexual propositions on several occasions.
Confidences that arrive after 10 years of silence, but the alleged victim, who claims to have recognized herself in the Mediapart investigation, published in April 2023, including the testimonies of 13 women, finally wanted to speak. She explains : “I shut it down because, obviously, it’s shameful to be touched like that.” And to also add, to our colleagues: “I don’t want to receive messages from people who would take great pleasure in being Depardieu’s lawyer or careerists of all kinds on social networks.
Gérard Depardieu’s reaction
After his complaint filed in Paris, on January 9, 2024, a preliminary investigation was opened by the prosecution against the 75-year-old actor. For his part, Gérard Depardieu’s lawyer, Me Christian Saint-Palais, explained to Western Mail that he discovered this complaint in the press. He contested “absolutely the facts likely to be qualified as sexual assault”.
