All afternoon France Bleu Périgord met the team that brings the Château de Puymartin to life 7 days a week. In black Périgord, not far from Sarlat, commune of Marquay, this castle built in the 13th century has gone through the ages and withstood the 100 years war. It was used to protect the trade routes from Périgord to important cities such as Toulouse.
Also a film set, it welcomes visitors for guided tours and other innovative activities. 1270 is the year of construction of the castle, 1972 its opening to visitors and 2022 celebrates 50 years of opening to the general public, an event celebrated with France Bleu Périgord.
