The suspense remains in Group B. The Scots face the Romanians for their third group match of the Rugby World Cup, Saturday September 30 at 9 p.m. at the Pierre-Mauroy stadium in Lille. After its victory against Tonga (45-17), the XV du Chardon gave itself a chance to reach the quarter-finals. Finn Russell and his partners currently have five points, and if they pick up five more, they will join the Springboks, currently on 10 points and second in the standings.

The Romanians, for their part, have suffered since the start of the World Cup. By launching their competition against the two behemoths, they were stifled from the start: 82-8 against Ireland, and 76-0 against South Africa. Opposed to the Scots, Eugen Apjok’s players will already try to collect fewer points during the game.
