“The CGT will make next April 20 and April 28 ‘highlighting’ moments of mobilization and action”, announced Friday, April 14 on franceinfo Thomas Vacheron, member of the confederal office of the CGT, in charge of pensions. The trade unionist specifies that April 20 will bring “specifically on the question of pensions” and April 28 “on pensions and on deaths at work”. He adds that“Between today and May 1, several mobilizations, actions, strikes and demonstrations will exist and will help to push back the government”.

>> “Trust is broken”, “not to promulgate the law”… The reactions of the unions after the decision of the Constitutional Council

After the decision of the Constitutional Council to partially validate the pension reform, the inter-union has, in fact, announced a new day of mobilization on May 1. Two days later, on May 3, the Constitutional Council will rule on a second request for RIP from left-wing parliamentarians. On this second shared initiative referendum, “under investigation by the Constitutional Council” who must therefore make his decision on May 3, Thomas Vacheron seems confident: “It leaves us all time to prepare for an exceptional, extraordinary, mass, family and popular May Day so that the government understands once and for all, definitively, that this reform must be withdrawn”. The first request for RIP, made by the left, was rejected on Friday by the Elders.
