It’s the big night for fans of the 7ᵉ French art! Friday February 24, 2023, the 48ᵉ Cesar ceremony once again brought together the cream of French cinema. This year, Tahar Rahim has the honor of presiding over this renowned evening. At his side, eight prominent personalities will animate this new edition with panache.
Once again, the biggest names in cinema have come together for an evening that promises to be rich in twists and turns! And for good reason, the César 2023 broadcast on Canal + were abruptly interrupted following an incident… And not the least! While Ahmed Sylla and Léa Drucker were preparing to award the prize for best male hope, the latter were cut off in their tirade.

“She could have at least ironed her T-shirt…”
Indeed, a climate activist invited herself on stage to be heard! Dressed in a white T-Shit bearing the inscription “We have 761 days left” (note: we have 761 days left), the latter placed herself between the duo by raising her fist. A few seconds earlier, Ahmed Sylla and Léa Drucker entertained the assembly with finesse before this hazard!
“I knew it was going to fall on me”, said Ahmed Sylla just after finding the antenna with Léa Drucker. “It had to fall on me, on my mother’s head, that’s undeniable. The duo had a hard time finding the thread of their speech. The niece of Michel Drucker indeed appeared very upset, but fortunately was able to count on his humorist colleague to avoid awkward silences in the face of the big family of French cinema. With panache, Ahmed Sylla had the merit of succeeding in relaxing the atmosphere with his thundering punchlines: “She could have at least ironed her T-shirt… With an ironed T-shirt you can interrupt the Caesars”!
