The CEO of Assu 2000 detained for rape of a minor and trafficking in minor human beings

The CEO of an insurance group was indicted and placed in detention on Saturday May 21, in particular for trafficking in human beings against minors, rape of minors over 15 years of age and recourse to prostitution of minor, learned franceinfo from a judicial source on Monday May 23, confirming information from RTL. According to information from franceinfo, this is the CEO of Assu 2000 Jacques Bouthier.

A preliminary investigation had been opened in mid-March and a judicial investigation last Saturday for “trafficking in human beings against a minor and attempt, rape of minors over 15, recourse to prostitution of a minor, sexual assault on a minor under the age of 15, association of criminals with a view to committing the crime of kidnapping and sequestration in an organized gang and possession of child pornography images”, indicates this judicial source.

It all started with the complaint filed in mid-March by a 22-year-old young woman, concordant sources told franceinfo. In front of the police, she said that she had been living for five years in one of the apartments belonging to the CEO of Assu 2000 Jacques Bouthier in exchange for sex.

After a few years, the business manager deemed her “too old” and asked her to “find” a younger girl to replace her, she said. This is how she makes contact with a 14-year-old girl who, like her, was living in a squat.

To support her statements, when she filed a complaint, the 22-year-old young woman provided investigators with a video where we see Jacques Bouthier and this minor in a bed. This explains why the businessman was indicted for sexual assault on this 14-year-old girl.

In another part of this investigation, there is in particular a project of kidnapping and kidnapping in an organized gang, because in an attempt to cover up the affair and recover this video, Jacques Bouthier is accused of having charged three employees, security agents, one of whom is a former member of the GIGN, the young woman who put him in contact with the complainant and his own wife to find a way to get him to leave France for the Maghreb, where he is from the girl.

According to information from franceinfo, Jacques Bouthier did not recognize the facts during his police custody and spoke of a “trap” to blackmail him.

In all, six people in this case were indicted on the same day and remanded in custody. The investigation was entrusted to the Paris miners’ brigade.
