The centenary of the death of Proust celebrated in Quebec

On the occasion of the 100e anniversary of the death of Marcel Proust, his work will be celebrated on November 12 and 13 in Quebec.

It was the lawyer Marc Bellemare who had the initiative for the event entitled Proust found, and it is the former Prime Minister Lucien Bouchard who will be the honorary president. This Saturday, at 2 p.m., Stéphan Bureau will meet with Lucien Bouchard, who will talk to him about the influence that the author ofIn Search of Lost Time had on his life. The public is invited to attend.

Also on the program: the theatrical work Inside Proust’s headby Sylvie Moreau, conferences on the life and work of the famous French writer, and, in closing, a concert by Les Violons du Roy at the Palais Montcalm.
