The doubling of the daily amount authorized was to stop at the end of February, but restaurateurs “have been penalized again in recent weeks”justified Bruno Le Maire adding that “our restaurant friends deserve it”. The ceiling is maintained at 19 euros for purchases in food stores.
The implementation of this doubling of the ceiling for Restaurant Tickets had been put in place at the start of the health crisis in order to support the catering sector. This relaxation had already been extended twice in 2020 and 2021.
In addition, the Ministry of the Economy clarified in a press release that employees still had the possibility of exchanging their 2021 titles with their employer for 2022 titles until March 15.
