The reconstruction of Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral is progressing at great speed. Friday December 8, Emmanuel Macron visited the impressive construction site and announced the creation of a museum and a competition for stained glass windows.
Behind the towers of Notre-Dame is the construction site of the century. Witness to the tragedy from which the monument escaped. On the morning of Friday, December 8, the President of the Republic congratulated the teams who had been working for four years, and engraved for eternity the name of General Georgelin, the site manager who died last summer.
A symbolic visit

In August 2023, the framework which will support the new spire is delivered. On December 2, the needle of the arrow flew over Paris and found its place above the roofs. In a year, Notre-Dame will be returned to worship and its bells will ring out again.
