It’s a good way to keep busy this Christmas weekend: the funfair of Châteauroux attracts families. Luna Park is installed as every year on the Mail Saint-Gildas. Nearly thirty stands are present, with new “sensational” rides this year.
Satisfactory attendance for fairgrounds
The funfair of Châteauroux takes place until January 9. Mid-term, the results of attendance is rather satisfactory for the fairgrounds, who have lived two complicated years since the start of the health crisis. “The weather is with us, so people come for a walk. Since we restarted in July (…) the year has been pretty good. “confirms Nicolas, who runs a shooting range. This fairground, originally from Indre, is delighted to be able to work again:”We are happy to come back to Châteauroux. To find friends, the atmosphere, the family (…) It’s a core, we all know each other“.
It’s a good vintage – Nicolas
The organizer of Luna Park, Willy Bleu, talks about a “very good attendance“after a year without a fun fair. There is no quantitative assessment of the number of visitors, but Will Bleu has the feeling, like his colleagues, of attracting more young people thanks to the new attractions.
