The CAQ wins in Marie-Victorin

The candidate of the Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ), Shirley Dorismond, won the by-election in the riding of Marie-Victorin, in Longueuil, in Montérégie, on Monday.

The Parti Québécois is defeated in the riding of Marie-Victorin and the CAQ adds an elected member to its deputies.

According to TVA nouvelles, voters in the Marie-Victorin riding on the South Shore of Montreal have chosen caquiste Shirley Dorismond to succeed the mayoress of Longueuil, Catherine Fournier, in Monday’s by-election.

The faces were long at the Saint-Hubert of Place Longueuil, during the announcement.
