The CAQ bunker

François Legault had to be pushed to his limits by the opposition for him to decide to end popular financing of his party. A meeting with Minister Guilbault for $200 during a CAQ fundraising cocktail started this whole saga.

As a corollary, everything suggests that the Prime Minister did not at all appreciate certain comments from opposition deputies, in particular from the solidarity deputy Vincent Marissal, who suffered the affront of being called a “national mud thrower » by François Legault when he met him in parliament.

An aggressive, even impulsive, attitude which attacks form rather than substance, and which gives the impression that the CAQ caucus has literally locked itself into a bunker mentality.
