Montreal Canadiens fans at the Bell Center got their money’s worth on Saturday night, as they saw their favorites make short work of the Columbus Blue Jackets and win 8-2.

No less than four players amassed three or more points, including Rafaël Harvey-Pinard, who was the hero of the game with a hat trick.
Nick Suzuki was not outdone with four points, a personal high for a game. Author of 10 points in his last four games, the captain of CH equaled his record of 61 points over the whole season.
After the opening of the score by the Jackets after only 92 seconds, Mike Hoffman answered for the Canadian. Despite a full visor due to AJ Greer’s slashing earlier this week, the maverick hit the target with an excellent shot. He added two assists to his record.
Brendan Gallagher had a good game with a goal and an assist. His net, scored between those of Harvey-Pinard in the second period, was his first since January 3. Alex Belzile and Jesse Ylönen completed the scoring.
In front of the cage, Samuel Montembeault gave in twice in the first twenty before closing the door to the Blue Jackets. He ended his work night with 20 saves.
The Canadiens will return to the road to take on the Buffalo Sabers on Monday.
