The Canadian | Sean Monahan misses practice

(Brossard) Forward Sean Monahan did not participate in the Montreal Canadiens’ training on Monday, instead taking advantage of a day of treatments.

The 29-year-old Ontarian also skipped his turn last Tuesday, during the club’s last full training session.

In the meantime, Monahan played in all three Habs games, accumulating six assists.

For his part, forward Tanner Pearson (upper body) trained again with his teammates. He has not played since December 9, against the Buffalo Sabres.

The Canadian will take over again on Tuesday, when they host the Ottawa Senators at the Bell Centre.

The Senators beat the Canadian 6-2 last Thursday in Ottawa. Martin St-Louis’ squad then lost 9-4 to the Bruins on Saturday in Boston.
