The Canadian | Sean Farrell agrees with the Canadiens

It is now done: Sean Farrell has agreed with the Canadian and should end the season with the team.

Sunday morning, the Habs announced a three-year deal, effective this season, with an average annual value of $1.158 million. Farrell will therefore complete the first year of the agreement this spring, which will expire in 2025.

He will join his new teammates on the road. The CH trains Sunday noon in Brossard, before jumping on the plane for games in Buffalo on Monday and Philadelphia on Tuesday.

The 21-year-old winger is coming off an impressive season at Harvard University, where he tallied 53 points in 34 games. His 1.56 ppg average was second in the entire NCAA, behind upcoming draft hopeful Adam Fantilli.

Farrell’s college season ended Friday when Harvard lost 8-1 to OhioState in the NCAA National Championship regional semifinal.

Farrell is a pick of 4e round (124e in total) of the Canadiens in 2020.
