Unsurprisingly, the Canadiens confirmed Thursday night the return of Logan Mailloux to the London Knights, in the Ontario Junior Hockey League.

The 19-year-old defender was still in the Canadian entourage until this week, but only for fitness reasons. General manager Kent Hughes had confirmed earlier this week that Mailloux would have to return to London.
Mailloux, the Canadiens’ first choice in the 2021 draft (the 31ste overall), had 9 points in 12 games with the Knights last season.
The Canadiens recently signed him to a three-year NHL entry-level contract.
