(Buffalo) Joshua Roy will not be able to start his training camp at the same time as his teammates. The hope of the Canadian must ignore the rookie tournament which begins Thursday.

The Habs announced late Wednesday afternoon that Roy did not accompany the team to Buffalo.
Roy suffers from a “minor injury” to a hand, according to what the CH published on Twitter. He therefore remained in Brossard to receive treatment.
The Quebecer was one of the prospects to watch at the Canadiens’ rookie camp. Last year, he finished at 1er rank in the QMJHL with 119 points (51 goals, 68 assists in 66 games). His exploits earned him a first contract with the Habs.
The Canadiens’ hopefuls left Brossard on Wednesday. From Thursday to Sunday, they will play three games in four days, all in the city where ex-president William McKinley breathed his last 121 years ago to the day.
The CH will play its first Thursday, at 7 p.m., against the Sabers.
