The Canadian | New two-year contract for Jordan Harris

Defender Jordan Harris signed a contract extension on Friday morning. This new deal will earn him a total of $2.8 million over the next two years.




The 22-year-old defenseman is playing his first full season in the NHL. After concluding his university career, he made the jump with the Habs at the end of last season, playing 10 games.

Since October, the American has accumulated 11 points, including 1 goal, in 47 games. This production places him at 10e rank among NHL rookie defensemen. Its average use of 18 min 26 s places it in 5e position.

Harris was drafted in the third round (71e in total) by the Canadiens in 2018.
