The Canadian | Kaiden Guhle will face the Sharks

Marked return to the Canadian’s training: after missing the last 23 games, Kaiden Guhle will face the San Jose Sharks this Tuesday evening.

The young defender suffered a knee injury on December 29 in a game against the Florida Panthers. The team had then estimated that his rehabilitation would last eight weeks, a schedule that was respected.

He says he is in great shape today, ready to take up the collar again.

Joel Edmundson has also been skating with his teammates since Monday, but his presence against the Sharks is still uncertain. In morning practice, he was the seventh defender. At this point, head coach Martin St-Louis has yet to confirm the exact composition of his roster, but Josh Anderson has spoken of an “uncertain” presence for his teammate.

Edmundson suffered an “upper body” injury on January 26th. No details filtered about him until we learned last Saturday that he would accompany the team on its trip to the American west coast.

The 29-year-old veteran has only played 39 of CH’s 59 games since the start of the season.
