The Canadiens announced Friday morning that Kaiden Guhle would be sidelined for “at least” eight weeks with a lower-body injury.
Remember that the young defender was injured after contact in the corner of the ice at the end of the game against the Florida Panthers on December 29.
In his medical update, the Habs also indicates that Brendan Gallagher will be out for “a minimum” of two weeks with a lower body injury as well.
As for defenseman Mike Matheson and forward Sean Monahan, who haven’t played since Dec. 17 and Dec. 5 respectively, they skated Friday morning.
“They are progressing well, but will miss another two weeks of activity”, let the CH know.
