(Raleigh) Jordan Harris will return to action this Thursday night against the Carolina Hurricanes. To make room for him, Johnathan Kovacevic will miss a first match this season.
Troubled by a “lower body” injury, Harris has missed the Habs’ last 15 games. In practice, Wednesday and Thursday, he skated to the right of Jayden Struble. The latter therefore receives a vote of confidence from the group of coaches, who chose to keep the rookie defender in training.
As for Kovacevic, he was already confined to a supporting role in recent weeks. He has not exceeded the 16 minutes of ice time in his last six games.
The organization also confirmed that forward Emil Heineman had been transferred to the Laval Rocket. Cole Caufield, meanwhile, did not take part in the morning workout. The team said he was receiving treatment.
