Dvorak was unable to complete the game on Tuesday when the Canadiens lost 3-2 to the Tampa Bay Lightning. He was spotted early in the second period doing a little spin on the ice during a stoppage of play, then retired to the locker room in the following moments.

Head coach Dominique Ducharme said after the meeting that Dvorak had a lower body injury and was due to undergo further medical examinations on Wednesday to determine the severity of the injury.

In 27 games this season, Dvorak has five goals and seven assists. It displays a differential of -13.

For his part, Ylönen had four goals and 10 assists in 17 games this fall with the Rocket in the American Hockey League.

The 22-year-old Finnish forward has an experienced NHL game last spring with the Habs. He had not darkened the score sheet.

The Canadian (6-18-3) has lost his last four games (0-3-1). He will take over on Thursday, when he hosts the Chicago Blackhawks (9-14-2).
