The Canadian made the announcement a few moments before the start of the club’s morning training.

No additional details have been released on the injuries in question at this time. The absence of both forwards coincides with the return to action of Juraj Slafkovsky, who has missed the last two games through suspension. It is presumed that Michael Pezzetta will be the 12e uniformed attacker.

Even if they had been healthy, one wonders if Drouin or Armia would not have skipped his turn n. The Quebecer was the least used player of his camp last Saturday against the Pittsburgh Penguins. He saw no more action after Sean Monahan’s equalizing goal, five minutes from the end of the third period, on which he also obtained an assist. It is not known if it was his injury that forced him to the bench.

Armia was on the ice until the last moments of the third. However, he has yet to collect a point in seven games this season. At five against five, he was not present on the ice for any goal of his team.

In goal, Jake Allen is expected to face the Devils.
