This is what the management of the Canadiens announced Monday morning, before the club jumped on the ice in Brossard for a rare training at noon.

Caufield, 20, certainly does not look like the player from last spring at this difficult start to the season for everyone at the Bell Center. The small forward has not collected any goals in 10 games this season, and his modest production of just one assist is admittedly well below expectations.

Remember that Caufield was a revelation during the playoffs last spring, with a harvest of 4 goals and 8 assists in 20 games.

To take the available place in the training, the Canadian recalled Michael Pezzetta from the Rocket de Laval. An energy player, Pezzetta has had 3 goals and 3 assists in 8 games in the American League this season.
