Price also skated on Saturday, the Canadiens said in a tweet.
“He is continuing his rehabilitation,” the team simply added.
Price, 34, is still recovering from knee surgery on July 23. He suffered several setbacks in his rehabilitation since it was often interrupted.
Price appeared to be on his way to being ready to play early in the season when he signed up for the NHL Player Assistance Program and the NHL Players Association on Oct. substance abuse.
He then had to put a stop to his rehabilitation when the Bell Sports Complex was closed in early January due to an outbreak of COVID-19 within the Canadian.
In a press conference on January 30, Price reiterated his desire to play this season.
In 707 career NHL outings, Price is 360-257-79 with a 2.50 GAA and .917 save percentage. He won the Hart and Vézina trophies at the end of the 2014-15 campaign.
Price is out this season the fourth of an eight-year contract with an annual impact on the salary bill of 10.5 million US.
