The Canadian confirmed Tuesday morning that prospect Luke Tuch has been signed.
The Montreal club thus offered a first contract to Tuch, for a period of two years.
The Canadian also specified that Tuch immediately said yes to a one-part contract with the Rocket, which will allow him to conclude this season in the American League in Laval.
The 22-year-old forward was a second-round pick by the Canadian (47e overall) in the 2020 draft.
In 39 games this season with the Boston University club, he had 10 goals and 20 assists for a total of 30 points.
